Specific demands
Not every structure lends itself to the requirements set by law and regulations. In certain cases it is possible to deviate from them. For example, for a specific use case it may be desirable to create a large fire compartment. Or in some cases it may not be necessary to limit evacuation routes to 30 metres. While the addition of a sprinkler system may remove the need for high fire resistance requirements. Such deviations require bespoke solutions based on the underlying objectives of the laws and regulations.

More than legally required
Conversely, it may be desirable to do more than what is required by law. Imagine a monumental building that needs extra protection, or business processes that must not be interrupted under any circumstances. But also think of vulnerable target groups who depend on others for their safety, or an insurance company that does not want to run any unnecessary risks. Together with the client, Cauberg Huygen seeks out the right level of requirements and the appropriate solution direction.
